License plate recognition

DataMind has recently developed a License Plate Recognition system.

It delivers the ability to read vehicle license plates and check them against an installed database for rapid identity verification. The license plate recognition system can be used for many different applications:

• Access Control
• Parking
• Road Tolling
• Law Enforcement

The system integrate high quality hardware (provided by one of our partners) and specifically designed DataMind proprietary software. The alphanumeric characters are extracted from the camera images and can then be matched against a database.

This project has been realized in collaboration with Video Systems Srl.
